1. What is CBD?

CBD or cannabidiol is one of the main cannabinoids contained in the cannabis plant. It is a non-psychoactive component with significant therapeutic potential for a number of health problems.

2. Where is CBD obtained and how is it processed?

ESSENS CBD is obtained from an authorised species of industrial hemp grown in the EU according to the principles of correct cultivation practice (GACP). It is obtained by HI-TECH technology of extraction of the upper third of the plant. CO2 (carbon dioxide) is used as the solvent, which at elevated pressure and temperature has the ability to "extract" only the desired substances (preferably CBD) from the dried plant, which are almost insoluble in water.

3. What is the difference between CBD and THC?

THC and CBD are two primary cannabinoids that occur naturally in the cannabis plant. Both of these substances interact with cannabinoid receptors found in the human body and brain. But their effects are different. The main difference is that CBD has no narcotic effects - unlike THC.

4. What makes CBD better than THC?

CBD is legal, infallible and calming.

5. Will I feel intoxicated after using CBD?

No, CBD has no narcotic and psychotropic effects.

6. How does CBD work?

CBD binds to receptors in the brain and throughout the nervous system. It also affects immune cells. According to the distribution of endocannabinoid-releasing receptors and cells in the nervous system, it can be assumed that this so-called endocannabinoid system may cooperate during the development but also to the remedy of nervous system disorders. Probably the most described subjective feeling is relief and relaxation.

7. Other companies offer 5% CBD oil, sometimes even higher. Isn´t 2% CBD oil low?

Yes, because thanks to the addition of piperine extract, the bioavailability is maximally increased, up to 3 times. Thus, the actual dose of CBD corresponds to an administration of about 30 mg.

8. What does 3x increased bioavailability mean?

It is known that in the body, the entire amount of consumed CBD cannot be absorbed up to 100%.
However, in ESSENS CBD we increased this bioavailability up to 3 times by adding black pepper extract.
Let`s have a look at an example.
From 10 mg CBD from a common manufacturer, only a portion is absorbed in the body.
From 10 mg CBD oil in ESSENS CBD capsule, the body absorbs up to 3 times more compared to other companies, which would achieve the same effect in the body by administering 30 mg of CBD oil.
Thus, our 10 mg CBD oil corresponds to the administration of about 30 mg CBD.

9. Can I drive after using ESSENS CBD Capsules?

Yes, but as with alcohol, a few hours interval is appropriate because CBD calms and relaxes the mind.

10. Is CBD recognised by drug tests?

Tests on saliva or urine evaluate the content of THC, not CBD, which is therefore not detectable by the police. Nevertheless, we do not recommend driving or operating machines.

11. Can I combine ESSENS CBD Capsules with other ESSENS food supplements or medications?

There are no known contraindications to ESSENS food supplements. In the case of medicines and specific health problems, we recommend consulting the attending physician.

12. Is CBD recommended to pregnant women?

Following the legislation, we do not recommend use by children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.

13. Is ESSENS CBD Capsules suitable for vegans?

Yes.

14. Are ESSENS CBD Capsules suitable for coeliacs?

Yes.

15. Are ESSENS CBD Capsules tested on animals?

No.

16. What is the recommended administration time to take ESSENS CBD Capsules?

The effect is already achieved after the first dose, but the maximum is achieved after 1-2 weeks of administration (there is a so-called accumulation of effectiveness). An increase in effect is achieved by application just before or immediately after a meal. After administration, the effect disappears in 5-6 weeks.

17. What is the optimal day time administration of ESSENS CBD Capsules?

Due to the fact that it can make you a bit sleepy, we recommend taking it in the evening. However, the time of administration is individual and may be more convenient for someone in the morning.

18. Are there any known side effects?

No adverse effects were reported.

19. Can addiction to CBD occur?

No addiction has been confirmed, even with long-term use and in excessive doses.
